Anybody else have to remove the records from the inside of the gatefold? Are they just like that or is my copy weird…

I keep seeing where people have static and noise on their Phish records. Anything I’ve received from Jemp has been excellent quality. I’m starting to wonder what kind of equipment ppl are using. My copy sounds beautiful, but my needle alone was $300. You get what you pay for.

Found this puppy on Amazon used listing for $20. So glad I got it. Vinyl looks amazing with the yellow and Green swirl pattern. Nice gatefold mine came a little creased with a small tear but for the price I can’t complain. Vinyl quality is amazing. Clean sound with nice depth and clarity. Phish vinyl releases are top quality. You can see this franchise cares about the sound because isn’t what this is all about? Keep on Phishing.

What’s clean is amazing but there’s so much random surface noise! Maybe I’ve been listening to too much live stuff, but there’s so much background fun stuff going on it’s hilarious.

One of the most warped records I've recieved in a long time... That says something. Hoping to get a replacement.

Recently received copy from the Phish Goods Store was noisy, even after a vacuum clean, and hitting the records with the Zerostat. Anyone else have a slightly noisy press out of the gate?

Very slight sibilance on Reba, but besides that this is by far the best sounding record that I own. It’s so lush and full sounding. The soundstage and instrument separation is immaculate. From the very first piano notes on The Squirming Coil this one just feels different in the best possible way.

Started out great but quickly ran into some sibilant issues: “sshhhell it to the butcher in the sshtore …” for example.
Anyone out there with the same?
