I’m curious if anyone with pops and clicks used a Milty zerostat before playing. My copy (just received 12-21) had plenty of clicking and popping on both sides starting around the middle of each side…but both sides were super clean up until that point. I wet cleaned with a Pro-Ject VC-E before the first spin. I played side B a second time after zapping it a few times with the Milty and there were only a few minor clicks…a huge improvement. When not clicking, the sound is excellent and the album is superb!

Edited 3 years agoOkay, I just received my Second Copy direct from Ghostly International today (06/30/2021) and here is the verdict after wet cleaning both of them before playing, that had different runouts:
First Copy: - Not purchased from Ghostly International
A-side runout: 149543E1/A - Listenable - Some Pops & Clicks - Not Perfect
B-side runout: 149543E2/B - Unlistenable - Pops & Clicks throughout - Bad Groove distortion Track B1
Second Copy: - Purchased from Ghostly International
A-side runout: 149543E1/D - Listenable - Some Pops & Clicks - Not Perfect
B-side runout: 149543E2/C - Listenable - Track B1 Groove Distortion Went Away - Still Some Pops & Clicks but less frequent.

My copy have so much pops and clicks on both sides. I think none of the songs is clean. Both sides have scratches.

My copy sounds good. I love this album. My pressing is more pink than red but it doesn't really matters.

Edited 8 years agoMy copy sounds excellent and is being played through a decent and rather analytical stereo setup.

2 different copies were scratched:
My first copy came with some scratch marks & weird black ink dots.
Received a replacement from the website I ordered from, again big scratch mark.
Needless to say both copies were perfectly sealed and packaged so it's 100% due to the pressing.
