Edited 5 months agoBit of crackle at the start of side A and the end of side C. Otherwise a very solid pressing of some very beautiful music.
Do yourself a favor, put the records in rice paper sleeves and insert those into the outer sleeve. Keep the inner sleeves that come with the record tucked inside the center of the gatefold. You'll be able to easy remove and reinsert the records without any issues, and won't screw up the printer inner sleeves in the process. -
Great album, but seriously terrible inner sleeves! Such a chore to take out and reinsert. Please never do this again Ghostly!

FYI, as of today, ISO50 (Tycho's shop) has this back in stock. Guess it wasn't limited to 2,000 after all. :)

If this is a limited edition of 2,000 its seems a bit odd that 1796 Discogs (at time of writing) have a copy? Are there actually 2 versions of this?
-
just a heads up, i got a copy of this from Amazon Australia and it arrived with only the first record, no second one in sight. not even a sleeve. other than that it's a great album
-
really love the album but i cant help myself but notice couple of things, first of which is that the cardboard of the outer sleeve seems like its taken from a box of chiquitta bananas - really tough and hard to insert it
And the second one is that the guy who designed the cover certainly held any boards of canada album as his inpiration - the inner sleeve artwork reminds me of music has the right to children/campfire headphase and the braile thingie on the vinyl itself is very much SKAM records ( exept for that skam's braille) is actually readable by blind ppl -

I've noticed on Side C that Past is Prologue had a section maybe halfway through the song in which it sounded like the record was dirty, despite having cleaned it and it being a first time listening. After returning it to Amazon and getting a new copy, I noticed the problem persisted. I've increased the tracking force, thinking it might help, but nothing is working. Anyone else experiencing this?
