First copy I ordered came severely warped, the second is perfectly flat but skips in multiple places, even after a decent clean. Not sure if its worth testing my luck again or settling for the black copy. I guess I'll figure out but I really do prefer the UK cover and white record :/

Edited 3 months agoLooks beautiful. It sounds ok but it's not the best. It's not the worst either.
It's not like the late 2022/Early 2023 Whitney Houston pressings (and the 2021 Various - Ghostbusters (Original Soundtrack Album)).
Those sound like you're watching a video on a 2004 Motorola Razr flip phone of a boombox playing a cd-r of burned 128kbps mp3s.
I had an original print but it's not in the best condition. It clicks and pops a lot on certain songs. Thankfully it doesn't skip. But the instruments on the original print are much for lively on that pressing than this remastered white vinyl.
I'm going to have to buy Wham! - Make It Big out of curiosity since I don't see any indication that it was remastered.

Can't compare it to the original since my copy is still sealed, but I am very happy with this pressing. The vinyl is flat and the soundstage is open and clear.

Gorgeous! And pristine sound! The white vinyl is beautiful, and the sound…phenomenal! An all-around superior pressing. Crystal clear; mastering is superb; and soundstage is broader than other pressings.

I still find it incomprehensible that Sony, as a global corporation, cannot manage to re-release the Wham! and George Michael stuff in a proper sound. The originals are still worlds better. (Verified purchase)
