Wham! – Make It Big

The best pressing. I just came across this at a garage sale for $2. After comparing the sound to Wham! - Make It Big (2024 European remastered white vinyl reissue), I'd say this one sounds the best.

After comparing the 3, This original pressing has the best sound. The 2024 US Black viny reissue retains about 90% of the sound quality. The White Vinyl, about 85%. They still sound good but there are parts here and there on the original pressing that just sound more alive than the reissues.

Decent pressing. I had an original pressing that clicked and popped alot no matter how many times I cleaned it, and gave the original to a friend.

I bought Wham! - Make It Big (The European White Vinyl) to replace it, then bought this one to compare the sound.

I just found an original pressing again at a garage sale for $2 in excellent condition.

After comparing the 3, The original pressing has the best sound. But this one still sounds very good.

I'd say it retains about 90% of the sound when comparing it to the original pressing. There are some differences I've noticed some differences here and there. But overall, they did a pretty good job at mastering this and Wham! - Make It Big (The European White Vinyl)

Best sounding pressing of this album for sure, Way more dynamic than UK Original release . A little less bass on some songs though, but nothing a subtle eq cant fix.

Sounds very good. I was very happy to find one in good condition at a record store.

Pick up the 2024 EU reissue - it's more fun and the inner groove distortion is brutal on this first pressing and borderline ruins Careless Whisper.

En cuando a la tapa ni idea porque lo consegui sin ella. Pero la calidad de audio esta bastante buena, si le tuviese que poner una nota seria un 07/10, no es perfecto pero esta bastante bien.

First copy I ordered came severely warped, the second is perfectly flat but skips in multiple places, even after a decent clean. Not sure if its worth testing my luck again or settling for the black copy. I guess I'll figure out but I really do prefer the UK cover and white record :/

Looks beautiful. It sounds ok but it's not the best. It's not the worst either.

It's not like the late 2022/Early 2023 Whitney Houston pressings (and the 2021 Various - Ghostbusters (Original Soundtrack Album)).
Those sound like you're watching a video on a 2004 Motorola Razr flip phone of a boombox playing a cd-r of burned 128kbps mp3s.

I had an original print but it's not in the best condition. It clicks and pops a lot on certain songs. Thankfully it doesn't skip. But the instruments on the original print are much for lively on that pressing than this remastered white vinyl.

I'm going to have to buy Wham! - Make It Big out of curiosity since I don't see any indication that it was remastered.

Was nobody (a bit / very) disappointed when - after their first fantastic ;) album their music switched from Funky/Disco to much more main stream pop music? I know I was and I shall always treasure my copy of "Fantastic!" (the title of the 1st album) and my 12-inch single of the Wham rap, with (actually) different version s of their first song ("Young guns was the first single but their first demo was "Wham Rap").
