Edited one year agoAaaargh. For this 2022 Argentinian issue Rhino used the SAME UPC (081227080211) it used for its 2006 reissue remastered by Kevin Gray, pressed at RTI in southern California. This is the entry for the 2006 Kevin Gray remaster:

You can see the potential problem, yes? A seller might receive this Argentinian reissue from his distributor, rely solely on the printed UPC, and then incorrectly list it under the Discogs entry for the 2006 Kevin Gray reissue instead.
I just checked the entry for the 2006 Kevin Gray remaster/reissue, and incredibly there are 32(!) new, still-sealed copies for sale. Big red flag, since it’s been 17 years since the Kevin Gray-remastered version was released, and yet there is still a shiteload of sealed copies listed here? So beware - if you decide to order that 2006 Kevin Gray/RTI reissue, make sure you ask the seller if his copy is truly stock from 2006; ask him to confirm that his copy bears the silver RTI hype sticker. It’s baffling, aggravating, that Rhino (or any company) persists in recycling the SAME barcode/UPC for different releases of a product, even when their mastering or pressing details differ. -
No sé que onda los otros, pero mi edición es pésima. Suena bajo, tiene como 3 saltos horribles en Once In A Lifetime. Podría decir que hasta una versión en streaming suena mejor, espero que haya sido problema de mi edición solamente, porque por lo que leo de los otros, está bien. -

Muy buena relación precio/calidad. Las primeras canciones en ambas caras suenan increíbles pero me deja la sensación que se va perdiendo calidad a medida que avanza el disco. En mi copia Once in a lifetime viene con un salto.
El libro está excelente como también el arte del disco. -

Está basado en el prensaje del 2013, probablemente viene de la digitalización del mix que hizo Kevin Gray de este disco en 2013, el cual viene de las cintas análogas originales. Suena muy bien y viene con un librito con fotos!! 100% recomendado, y no esta doblado como los vinilos prensados en Argentina
