Talking Heads – Remain In Light

I really like the sound of this. Drums are very punchy especially in "The great curve". Nice soundstage as well. I'm not sure you could do a lot better for the price.

Webtv72, I have the Canadian original pressing of "Speaking in tongues" and it sounds a lot better than this album. This pressing sounds veiled.

I love this album and have owned many formats over the years. THIS is the one. I will look no further as this pressing is fantastic. Every nuance can be heard on this masterpiece. Go get it if you don’t have it already.

What a strong pressing this is. Crisp and clear but with warmth for days.

Sounds great. 4 stars due to the vinyl being warped but doesn’t affect play.

Calidad se sonido y de impresion excelentes para su epoca. Algo que me sorprendio es que la portada esta texturizada (como el vinilo de Unkown Pleasures de Joy Division) cosa que no me desagrada para nada pero me parece rarisimo de ver en un cassette.

Talking Heads - All time greatest album. A true awakening!

I wanted to get an original pressing, so I avoided this one for a while. Finally I decided to get it. It sounds phenomenal, and I think I’ll stay with this pressing. Far better than digital.

There’s no surface noise and it’s clean, considering the disc comes in a paper inner sleeve. It barely needed to be cleaned with an anti-static brush.

Bought when this version was released a couple years back and I’ve been coming back to it a lot recently. The mastering sounds outstanding. As far as the pressing, it is a little noisy as others say, especially during houses in motion and the overload. But no defects on born under punches and plays pretty well otherwise. Good overall.

I’m curious to know how this holds up against the Kevin Gray cut. Any input on how this was sourced?
