Can't say this blows my mind. Great songs obviously but the sound on this pressing is a bit samey. Highs not particularly high bass a bit wanting. Tried it on both my setups through various equipment changes and it always leaves me cold. Only my opinion of course, other folk might love this. It is very quiet, I'll give it that but otherwise meh! Just put The Head On The Door, The Cure original Irish pressing on after it. Difference is night and day. Effervescent versus dull. I'll be looking for different copy of Fear of Music. -
Mostly great sound. Side 1 gets a bit distorted towards the end, although it's nothing too noticable. You really have to be laser focused on it to notice. Great price and great album! -
Sounds fantastic, mastered by Bellman. Flat, quiet. Embossed sleeve is a nice touch.
