Edited one month agoThis sounds fantastic, very happy with the sound but in general the reason for the comments and the reason you need to crank the volume is because this needs to be split onto 2 discs. Should never have been on a single disc in the first place 40 years ago, These need room to breathe.

They crammed a lot on here, and you gotta turn the volume way up to listen at a respectable volume, but this mostly sounds good. The end of Side A kinda sounds very flat for some reason, but the rest of the album is very dynamic
-
Lots of music on each side, but this seems to be pretty well mastered, you do have to crank it a bit... I've always listened to this one more than any of their other official albums... white paper inner so it required a cleaning.

Edited one year agoWasn't pleased with my first Dutch press of this album, it sounded quite off. I prefer the remastered version, although it's a bit quiet it sounds great with the volume up! Also little to no background noise :)
-
Great pressing! The grooves are very thing yet very pleasing when turned up. Like crank this thing for the best experience lol.
Please only get this for a reasonable price, I keep seeing this for $60+ when it isn’t… -
Low volume and bass, but easily solved with eq and volume knob. Other than that it's very good for this lenght

Edited one year agoMy copy is okay. Despite a perfect looking record, a bit of noise inbetween songs, frustrating ten seconds of clicks on Hand In Glove, an album this long on a single LP isn't going to be perfect, I suppose.
-
Pretty low volume on mine. And it lacks bright and also bass.
Anyway, its a great collection of songs.

woah.. those with a first press.. please tell my my ears aren't tricking me. this pressing sounds soo.. well.. that remastered sound? or everything is in the midrange... my older press with 1st uk plates blow this thing outa the water in every level. to the point where you can feel body shake if loud enough..
