I own a copy and I think it sounds good, but I'd have to check again. What I was wondering: what is really "Japanese" about this pressing? The "Country" field on Discogs does not refer to the country of manufacturing but I think we can all agree that if the country is Japan, the release has an OBI, and is distributed in Japan, it suggests a pressing done on the Japanese mainland. However, it's unclear who manufactured this release and the only thing Japanese about this release are the OBI (which can be printed in any given country) and the fact that it's imported by Hostess. In fact, I think all of this is just a marketing stunt since Japanese pressings with OBIs are so coveted; after all, I got my copy from the UK webshop.

My copy is a bad pressing too. Bought new but lots of surface noise and warped.
The music is amazing but whoever pressed this should be ashamed of themselves. -
Edited 4 years agoI resell this vinyl ‘cause is Full of cracks and surface noise. I Think this is the reason ‘cause this vinyl pressed in a very limited quantity costs only 55€ after 3 years.
I bought it only because i presumed that the song 30th June were pressed on Vinyl but i discovered with extreme disappointment that there was only the digital . Only the Japan cd contains physically that dreamy powerful song -

Has someone compared the blue and clear? I have the clear and I thought it actually sounds very good.

Horrible SQ on this release. I have been 100 % analogue since the late 70'ties, but a release like this only confirm me that I need to get a DAC. Hov Musicians, Pressing plant and Record Company can allow this release to hit the street is beyound belief.
