I don't think I've ever come across another release that samples Mantronix's Bassline TB-303 acid-like bass stab to such great effect. Shut Up And Dance always seemed to do the basic stuff very well. It's like they said to themselves, this classic Electro Hip Hop record needs an updated, rougher edged remix for the UK underground warehouse massive and we're not going to wait for Kurtis Khaleel to do the honours any time soon. ''Respect and thanks, but this tune's had a remix!'' Of course the addition of Joey Beltram's 1990 classic and KLF's best ever original mix (in my humble opinion) in the process in exactly the right positions didn't do any harm. The original mix seriously sounds so damn good on a pumping system. When this came on at the Warehouses and clubs, there was a knowing nod by the previous hip hop electro cognoscenti. Made for warehouses this one.

The "Rolling" vocal samples this https://discogs.versitio.com/Lost-Entity-Bring-That-Back-One-More-Time/master/255356 Lost Entity- Bring That Back (One More Time)... Blimey what a tune and what a great start to totally MENTAL decade! "You may stop the party but you cant stop the future"! (To quote Spiral Tribe!)

Pretty much all the SUAD stuff paved the way for what came to be known as JUNGLE/DRUM AND BASS. Wipe the needle uses samples from KLF and a simple 303 bassline along with a rollin break.Simple but classic. This sound defines an era of british dance music.

This is another classic from the Ragga Twins - basically the remix is identical to the original, adding a catchy treble line and keeping the same vocals and catchy bassline. Well used on pirate radio jingles around '91.

I first started playing S.U.A.D records when they first started out. Raw breaks with a mad method for sampling rock and pop tunes. I took these records to Australia with me in 1991 and it blew up dance-floors and Raves everytime they got dropped. Jugglin was an anthem in Perth, tracks like this went on to inspire many of todays Drum and Bass producers.
