Recent pickup, scratching an itch for that amen mashup. More approachable and fun than some of his later stuff. Joyous. -

Unsure how I overlooked this release through the years, but I finally got it and am loving it. Very interesting tunes and I get surprised a lot by unexpected twists. Production is great, super compilation. -

My favorite squarepusher release. Every track is expertly programmed/played and composed. Not as hard and heavy as Chaos AD or Feed Me Weird Things but also not too jazzy either. It's a more stripped down drum and bass style. To me this is his easiest stuff to listen to. -
Edited 9 years agoThose who need a primer on early 'Pusher should look no further. Collects the Conumber and alroy road tracks (recorded as the duke of harringay) eps in their entirety, and adds 3 unreleased numbers (all untitled; the track names here come from their respective eps). One can definitely hear the jazz influence on this one (Central Line, Saracid pt 2) along with the skittery drill'n'bass craziness(male pill 5, eviscerate...TJ knows how to properly use an Amen break!).
If you can't find the original eps(and I highly recommend doing so), this is a great place to start. -

This CD is a decent assortment of old/rare Squarepusher tracks. Highly recomended if you dig his Jazzy/DrillnBass styles. I'd say 50-60 tracks on here are pure genius, with the remaining tracks pure madness! -

That's a blueprint of real good music. It's D'N'B, but not only. It's Jazz, but not only. It's a jazzy Drum'N'Bass madness in a futuristic style you can't get away from. Great! -

Wow, Tom Jenkinson seems to be a talent for making abstract noise orientated Drum'n Bass. With "Music Is Rotted One Note" he released his greatest thing which will made him to one of regular producers on this imprint.
