I’ve got a black label Columbia Record Club version that doesn’t seem to be listed here. Plain white inner with “crc” printed in the bottom right corner of the back cover.

This one is routinely (and lazily) dismissed as being part of Lou's so-called mid-70s nadir, but attentive listeners will understand it's actually a solid, fun album full of well made rockers. It's probably the 'best dressed' of Lou's albums at this time, lacking the weirdness of the binaural recordings, the grating darkness of 'Berlin' or the sloppy charm of 'Sally Can't Dance', and contains a lot of short punchy numbers that get the job done and then finish. While there's nothing that's going to raise eye-brows (or back-of-the-neck hairs) if played in public, that seems like it's sort of the point. Probably the album I'd put on at a party of non-Lou fans, but not as a way to convert them, just straight-forwardly entertain.

Yep! In my opinion this is sadly underrated. I like it. ''You Wear It So Well'' is fantastic me thinks.
