My only gripe is it’s very digital, but phenomenal sound -
Perfect sound, great songs and supera pressing, not a pop in all the récord. This is a record that has been overshadow by thow of this bigs brothers Meddle and TDSOTM, butvis the more original álbum to their catalogue. Give a lisen, and buy at good price. -

Ran through spin clean, and while there are noticeable pops in parts, it's not consistent and doesn't ruin the vinyl. Music and mix sound great in my opinion. Would not overpay but worth adding to the collection. -
Based on the reviews below, I bought this from Amazon in case I needed to return it. Opened it up and was fortunate to see that the LP was flat and not warped. Gave it a cleaning on my RCM. Put it on the TT and wow...what a great piece of vinyl. No skips or issues. Side one and two played beautifully. Very analogue. This one isn't trying to win the loudness war. Clean, clear and dynamic enough. Very, very pleased. Music-wise this is a recent discovery for me but it has quickly become my fav Floyd album. Hopefully, this is helpful to those considering the purchase of this album... -
Warped copy from Amazon, otherwise sounds great. KAB tonearm fluid damper smooths it out completely for me. -
Edited 2 years agoalso got a warped copy fresh out of the shrink, heard of yet another new warped copy even just in my small town. exact problem as well with a copy of Relics.
returned them for new copies, Relics is fine but haven't checked my copy of this yet. fingers crossed -
Immediately out of the shrinkwrap, my copy has a skip on Mudmen that causes it to loop every two seconds. After gel cleaning, I've improved it to where it simply skips ahead one second instead, but this is still unacceptable. It also generally has more surface noise than I'd like, but obviously, gel cleaning improved that. Disappointing, because the remaster sounds amazing. Clear as a crystal lake otherwise
