Edited 5 years agoHaving dusted down my ghetto blaster, that I retrieved from the attic, I had 60+ tapes to listen to. Deciding to listen to them in alphabetical order, Hunting High & Low was first up. Wow! It's been over 30 years since I heard this album but it blew me away. The songs sounded fresh & well written (which they are). My favourite a-ha track, The Sun Always Shines On TV, is almost the perfect pop song. It's relentless in the way that it builds to a crescendo. Wonderful!
a-ha always offered more than the likes of Duran Duran & this album shows why. There are no fillers. Every song is excellent. -
