The sound is quite good, definitely better than the 2007 reissue which sounds very thin and focussed on the upper midrange. This original has more bass and more extended highs.
Edit: I now have the 25th anniversary remastered edition and the remaster sounds better than the original in my opinion. More natural and fuller.
