the album itself is absolutely phenomenal. unfortunately, my copy is slightly warped, and it skips several times during both "that's not me" and "don't talk (put your head on my shoulder.)" really disappointing, but it's always hit-or-miss with that stuff.

Good pressing but it starts to get a little gritty with distortion toward the second half of side A. There is a little wah there as well which can be noticeable to the trained ear. So, good pressing, not great pressing. I’m going for the AP45 Stereo.

I love this stereo mix. It really brings the whole "Teenage Symphonies to God" comment full circle when you're able to hear the individual instruments more clearly and realize just how much is going on. Also, the dynamic range is off the charts...the low end is rich and organic, with great presence. The harmonies up top are vibrant and crisp. No complaints at all about how this masterpiece sounds in stereo. The vinyl itself definitely needed a good cleaning, and there's still a stray crackle here and there between songs, but seriously...this is the best I've ever heard PET SOUNDS, and I treasure this record. My copy was purchased new and sounds fantastic.

It's weird that there is only surface noise in between songs on my copy, but once the song starts, it's gone completely. Other than that it sounds fantastic imo

This is a great pressing. I thought it sounded absolutely magical when I first heard it. It sounds so whole and alive. I think when you're listening to the Beach Boys specifically, this is a great thing. This pressing is very good and I haven't had a single problem with it. Looking at some of the other reveiws, they have recieved imperfect vinyls as far as cleanliness and little imperfactions, but mine came to me in perfect condition. This is a great pressing of this album.

Amazing sounding LP with a stereo-mix that quite honestly I thought I would never get to hear. Terrific separation, good weighty bass & a nice open soundstage par excellance. Hell, this thing sounds like it was recorded yesterday it sounds so clear & alive. Heavyweight slab of hot-wax is near dead-silent on my copy after a good wet-clean. A masterpiece well realized in stereo, bravo Mr. Linett...

Obviously a great, classic album. Sounds awesome, and the vinyl is very weighty. Only issue I have is that my copy seems to be cut... unevenly? Parts of the record are tapered at the edges, and parts are broad. Very strange, but it doesn't seem to affect the sound quality at all.

Amazing sounding, vibrant true stereo remaster on this one, though the QC leaves a lot to be desired, flimsy sleeve, generic paper inner with the run in groove exposed, dirty and off center, but nonetheless a thoroughly enjoyable listen.

Note: this release has the original bridge take on Wouldn't It Be Nice (with Mike Love singing), unlike most other stereo remasters, which have an alternate take of it, (with Brian Wilson singing) though this remaster still has the alternate coda take intact for that track.

I have a different runout on a 2016 stereo pressing purchased in 2022: B 0957139-A-1 and st-2458 on label. This item is the closest match.

AVOID THIS PRESSING LIKE THE PLAGUE! It sounds ok until the middle of the third track. The audio then becomes wow-and-flutter mania. It makes one of the best albums of all time unbearable to get through. I thought it was my record player, so I bought another and it STILL did this. I ended up buying an original pressing and the issue was no longer apparant. You might as well spend the extra dollars and get an original if you're going to listen to this album on vinyl.
