Now all we need is Intervention to release Beat Crazy at the speed it was recorded at. I'm sure it was sped up for the master. -
Impressive release, very detailed sound and just amazing dynamics.
The record is a bit sibilant but that is an artifact of the original recording and makes is sound very authentic. If your cartridge doesn't track grooves well enough I can imagine that this could be a problem. But on my system it sounds perfect.
It's awesome how they revived the low-end, the bass sounds so plucky and upfront. The cymbals of the drums also sound very sharp but not 'hot' so just perfect.
The only downside I guess is the fact that it's such an in-your-face recording which makes it a bit fatiguing.

HOLY CRAP!! Finally!! Someone who knows how to press records. Given my venture back into vinyl the past few months, I have been so frustrated with the quality -- or lack of!! But NOT THIS!!! Intervention Records are amazing. Clean. Clear. Crisp. No Noise. Can't wait to spin more from Intervention records. -
One of the all time great rock records, and this is, by far, the best sounding version. So crankeable.
