Although there is a certain surface noise that can be noticed at high volumes or during quiet sections, I think this is also tape noise. Also, the record comes with a lot of dust, mostly paper dust, and needs a good cleaning before listening. The mastering and pressing are extremely good. It is dynamic, lively and layered. The music is like a dream. Ornette and Don are probably the most harmonious duo ever.

I got a bad copy. Lots of static on side one between tracks. Not so much on side two but very disappointing.

I did find this masterpiece in local store, delivered from Poland Universal where remainded. Sealed, looks like used, but luckily silent. The album offers possibility to discover the music one of the strongest advocates of free jazz in his early, accessible stage. Ornette personality can reminds in some parts Monk, but of course on different instrument. All artists plays fresh and progressive. The sound is clear, detailed and dynamic. Highly recommended reissue.

Very good reissue. Some paper debris on vinyl but brush can clear them away. Very Left - Right sounding record but no complaints on it, sign of times when was recorded. Dynamic and 3D sounding.
