I am surprised to read that this i a bootleg. I work as a graphic designer and i can tell for sure that this sleeve is even better printed than your usual reissues with their tacky and bad artworks, wrong color graduation and double screened fonts. It looks 100% like a well done proper reissue by India Navigation. Strange. There are some side noises at the beginning, yes, but which decent pressing is without?!

It's a boot so obviously it's not for whiny audiophile nitpickers. With that said, it doesn't sound bad either. Balanced, well seperated dynamics etc. I'm pro bootlegger all the way. If these artists and their management can bother to make this music available and they want to leave money on the table I will gladly give that money to someone who is at the very least trying to make the available to those who want it.

It s an unofficial release but belongs to the same label that make the orginal one. It s strange not, could anybody please explain me how it s unofficial release then? Thanks

I don't have an original copy to compare it too, but this one sounds really great and glad it's accessible now through this reissue, although i know it's a boot. if you're looking for one they can be found on ebay. Grab while you can cause I believe even these are limited too. Great album and a must have for your collection

I have both copies (2008 and 2020 release). They both sound similar but the 2020 version sounds ever so slightly more clear. Both aren’t very dynamic but neither was the original.

I compared this reissue with the original release (brown cover):
I could not hear a major difference between the two records.
However, the original copy i own is not in perfect condition (a lot of Background noise)
I'm not an audiophile, my setup is a NAD 555i with a goldring 1042 with a musical fidelity x-lps V3 phono pre-amp hooked to an yamaha r-s700 amp and a combination of ACR and John Blue speakers.

okay for all of the nerds complaining about the sound quality, it is very obvious that you are not hearing the music contained on this. if you were, recording quality (which is NOT bad btw), would simply be for THIS piece (harvest time) irrelevant to you. you all are collectors and purveyors, which is fine, but as such, the music is not touching you, because you would be unable to focus on the quality of the sound, rather the exhiliration of the music. the album is nothing short of a miracle.
