A fantastic job done by RVG, resulting in a perfect sounding CD.

I have a very high end stereo and so far this release demolishes everything else I have heard (hdtracks 24bit, ap lps and bn 2021 lp). Most probably original LP would be best but I haven't heard one. If I could just make one criticism would be that the highs are harshish but taken into consideration the other obtainable options they do sound dead in comparison

I can't disagree vehemently enough with review below. I have owned/own both the Classic Records 45rpm and the 2021 BN classic release of this album. I traditionally prefer LPs over digital but in this case, the RVG CD is my go to because, it honestly sounds just as good as the LPs and the bonus Django track is better than the original on the LP. And yes, I have a very good system.

The remastered CD does not hold up. The mix is terrible in my opinion. The keyboard is mixed way to low, the guitar is up too high , you lose the swing of the band. This should not have been mixed to feature Grant as a solo guitarist but rather to feature him as a player over and incredible band. The LP version from 63 is the best mix.. why try to change excellence? I am extremely disappointed in this remix.
