I actually think this is quite a bit better than the 1st stereo pressing, but ittedly this album KILLS in mono. Although, a clean mono pressing is fairly expensive these days, so I think this suffices for most. Compared to the 1st stereo this has much more air and dynamics overall and actually improved my enjoyment of the mix substantially because of that. In general it sounds more realistic and removes most of the feeling that every instrument is being dragged through sludge. But, hey, maybe that's how it was supposed to sound. I don't know. But personally I highly recommend this pressing while you're waiting to find a good mono.

I've got us 1st press mono, us 1st press stereo and this reissue and it sonically looks like this: 1st mono >>>> 1st stereo > 2013 stereo reissue
