Probably not the best pressing, as the previous reviews indicate. But I’m listening right now and loving it. The glitch on loving tenderly flies by in an instant. If you can pick up this reissue cheaply, do it.

No attention to detail for this reissue of this beautiful record. Golden Pavillion should be ashamed of themselves, poor reproduction of cover art to start with. Compared to the original it sounds poor. Track anomalies on side one in the left hand chanel to start with, sounds like record crackle or mastered with some cheap plug in, side two has a glitch, bump which makes me think this is remastered from the original vinyl. How the hell the cutter didn't pickup on this is beyond me.
This reissue certainly won't be going up in value of the years, stick to an original or an easy tempo release. -
Rumour has it that this release was mastered from the original tapes, where as the easy tempo release was taken from a record. I have both versions and i must say that i prefer the sound of the easy tempo. Then theres the "scratch glitch" which is a downer. The golden pavillion label is terrible and so is the cover. So i would say do yourself a favour and go with the Easy tempo.

Edited 11 years agosome presses have for a moment a scratching sound in the middle of the loving tenderly track.

there're 2 different pressings of the reissue. they're looking almost same, but the later run has a more pixeled cover (yes, the 1st 2012 reissue had a poor cover artwork, the 2nd was even worse!). also the title, artist and cat# on spine are set on different places.

Hi again, the reissue was already submitted here? http://discogs.versitio.com/release/3718687

Edited 12 years agoThis is a 2012 re-issue on the Golden Pavilion label. But be careful: sleeve is identical as the first italian release, but the reproduction of the photo is poor, blurry and has been modified with a cheap preset photoshop filter. The vinyl labels have nothing to to with the original ones. check 'more images' above.
