Somehow this Conroy 1976 pressing has such an amazing range and superb dynamics in comparison to the Carosello one(although the Carosello one has the beautiful cover). The reissues of recent are decent.

This is a such a fun, funky, and classy record. Wah wah guitars, horns, bass, and soaring strings throughout. I hope Richford and Stevan are alive to see just how legendary this record has become amongst collectors.
This is definitely on track to become one of the most treasured records in my collection. Thanks so much to Be With Records for putting out such a high-quality reissue. -

Am I the only one to find it over-hyped? Yes, the production is second-to-none but for me other library records are better produced and finalized, to another level. I've also realized I couldn't t hum any of the songs right after listening, which usually doesn't happen with most of the sought-after library records I've listened so far. Usually good library melodies tend to stick to my brains. Here, nothing really.
Maybe I'm missing something here. I will keep on listening it once or twice a year. Who knows one day it could really touch my feelings. I obviously wouldn't refuse it as a present - € 5,000 is always nice - but I wouldn't crave for it. -
After reading the reviews about this pressing I was apprehensive but my copy actually sounds pretty decent. Slightly compressed overall but still very clear with no surface noise. The album artwork is awful and barely legible because of how pixelated it is, but this is a great low entry to own a classic album and I’m pleased to have it in my collection. -

Consensus on the quality of the pressing ; couldn't compare to the original, but can't imagine it would outperform this one. Crazy value. -
