This is the first Atlantic 75th I don't like. It's excellent, no question, and I'd certainly be jumping for joy if I couldn't compare it to Miles Showell's Half Speed at Abbey Road. It clearly loses out in of liveliness and joy of playing, which the musicians, however, brought out by ramping up the dynamics. Nevertheless, it must be said that the 75th is more pleasant to listen to, also in of voices, it is tidier and offers significantly more transparency and openness. Miles Showell did a fantastic job, and this pressing is also available at a reasonable price. It‘s all a question of taste.

Mixed emotions … Good pressing, sound quality ok, but poor artwork quality. Gatefold folder quality,is well done, but who approved this bad cover scan … ?

Very happy with this pressing, best I've heard this classic album sound. Dead silent vinyl. And the three bonus tracks are great!

Im sure when i compare it to the AP 2011 pressing ive got it will sound the same... ie very very good if still with a feeling that 5-10% is left on the table that, oh, lets say Bernie might have gotten from the tape.
The reason to buy this is the sleeve doesnt suck as the 2011 was back from the non-Stoughton times of single sleeve crappyness.
This comes in a glorious matte gatefold that means i can sell on the 2011 with a small loss (as long as this doesnt sound worse in any way lol!)
