Truly stunning in most respects. Does better the Rhino Hifi KPG cut in expanse and detail sweetness/cleanliness but its got a little less bass which just spoils things slightly. In fact its almost on the verge of being too light in the bass. Its definately a case of questioning if the 45rpm inconvenience is worth it, seeing as the KPG is so excellent itself. For sure once the latter halves of the KPG are in play, the AP 45 is pulling ahead in almost every respect but that 33 still sings. Both are excellent choices. A warmer system with a rich bass will find the AP wins. A leaner system may play better with KPG.

I don't know if this isn't selling all that fast or what the deal is, but I was pretty shocked when copy #1,014 landed on my doorstep today, considering I ordered this & another LP from Acoustic Sounds on June 7th and it's been out since December of '23. I thought for sure I'd end up with an unnumbered copy by now.
      “¯\_(ツ)_/¯“

Number shenanigans and all that aside, this sounds incredible to me.. Clean, clear, punchy and dynamic. Unfortunately I don't have any other pressings to compare it with, but I have no complaints whatsoever and it's certainly not "boring" sounding, like some others have said. YMMV

So far all 9 of my Atlantic 75 series lps have been great. They're so damn quiet and with virtually no pops or clicks I honestly don't know how they do it. Seriously they are more peaceful than the Steely Dan UHQRS. This early 70s rocker never sounded better with just the right amount of everything without sounding harsh or too bass heavy. Buying and listening to these puts us audiophiles in our happy place.

Great pressing, great jacket. Forgot how boring this music is though. So bored, but it sounds good and it’s an album from my childhood so I’ll keep it.

Thanks AP for pressing more rock titles ✌️

I dropped the needle on this new 45rpm pressing expecting to be blown away, but I was under whelmed.
I could not put my finger on why, I mean the vinyl is dead quite, flat and the sound is very smooth, but is just not engaging or exciting.

So I put on my old copy 1974 copy Bad Company and immediately it sounded exciting and engaging. I then did a lot of A/B comparing back and forth and while the 45rpm version technically is a very good pressing it just lacks that magic.

Just to clarify I have a very good stereo and to give you an idea the cartridge is a Kiseki Purple Heart NS with gear to match.

If I had to choose only one to keep, it would be the 1974 version and it only cost me $28AUD.

Don't Let Me Down, you know I'm Ready for Love, I need to Rock Steady, and I Can't Get Enough - The Way I Choose, I keep Movin' On looking for the best sounding pressing of Bad Company, and the Seagull has finally flown home !!!!

It IS the Greatest Of All Time !!!

This was such a fun listen. There is so much punch and drive on this recording. I cranked it and just rocked along to the music!

The original has always been great but the 75th just takes the music to another level. I often ask myself, was the price worth it while listening to a new record? The answer is yes all day long for this pressing.

This release is the GOAT. Owning the best previous releases, i can argue this one is just perfect. (Spinning on system with active ATC 100 speakers + VTL 6.5 + Kuzma/4point + Zyx r1000 Airy 3 SB)

Concurring with all the positive reviews here. I have just about every incarnation of this album…LP’s, Tape, 8 Track, Reel, Flac…
This is the ONE to have. Exceptional.

                      An exceptional sounding copy.
                      Mine is # 1462
The first 2000 copies are Pressed at QRP and have a gold numbered imprint on the back cover.
The QRP pressings have been silent except for the rare micro vinyl burr or speck of dust, after a few plays those even went away.
You do get the feeling you have obtained a very special album that is historic in its quality and place in analog LP reproduction.
As far as the mastering on this format I think we have reached the limit of what can be done with the current analog technology.
Which quite frankly is astonishingly great.
I have 4 different albums of the Atlantic 75th - 45rpm series and everyone of them has been a joy to listen to.
They grab you, immerse you, and bring you a step closer to the master tape heard all those years ago in the studio's master control.
You need at least a reasonably good turntable/cart > phono preamp to really start to hear heats in these grooves.
The better your Cart > Table > Phono Pre the more these albums revel to you.
                      Well done Analogue Productions!
