Just like SDE's Make it Big; disappointing compressed stereo mix, the original album section of this disc has an average DR of 11.
I suspect that this is based on the 1998 remaster -
The definitive version of a very enjoyable piece of pop music.
The mastering of the atmos and stereo mix is incredible, everything is sharp, the bass is especially groovy there is no loudness war here.
The atmos mix itself is perfect, all speakers are used but not in a disturbing way, everything is right we're it should be and the difference with the stereo is striking.
Actually this release will allow you to rediscover these songs and realise this is not only teenage pop, far from it -

Edited one year agoThe stereo mixes are sublime the mastering is magnificently dynamic, truly fantastic.
The music is funky and fun and this album was very well recorded.
Note only the original album and three bonus instrumentals included within the main album are 24/96 stereo, the rest of the bonus tracks are 24/48 stereo.
