Edited one month agoReviewing Every record in my collection:
Man, the sound and mastering of this record is OUT STANDING. I can't believe a record like this has such an... Expensive feeling mastering, I'd never listened to these songs on such pristine quality. It makes me wish I had an even better set-up than I already have (and I have a really good one already) to milk everything I can out of it.
The pressing didn't come 10/10 out of the package; Slow skipped twice and I had to clean it with a wet wipe for it to go, besides that, the quietest most silent playback possible. Being there are SIX songs per side, it's incredible that they suffer of no sibilance whatsoever, hell I'd even say songs like Red Blooded Woman (last one on side A) are the best sounding ones of them all
And last but not least, The packaging is Sublime; I kept waiting to find this red limited edition of the vinyl since I wanted the 12x12 art print that comes with it. At first I was a bit hesitant about the red vinyl since it's not the first color that comes to my mind when thinking about this album, but it actually looks pretty great and stands out nicely from the rest. The Gatefold is also Beautiful.
With nothing else to say, I recommend this one to every Kylie fan or vinyl enjoyer
UPDATE; After having spun this vinyl a couple of times, it did skip on some other parts. But echoing what other people said in the comments, after cleaning and playing it a few times you'll eventually get a clean playback with no distortions whatsoever. You can also try tweaking the Anti-scate on your TT if it persists -
As previously stated here, the lp needs cleaning before spinning. First few tracks were skipping before cleaning .
Now I need to say that the quality of this pressing is outstanding!!! Sound better then the cd. Kylie’s team delivered everything with this pressing , sound quality , packaging and color.
At first I was a bit skeptical regarding the red color, but it fits really welll the vibe of the album.

A recent purchase from Amazon (currently reduced to just over £15). It arrived in perfect condition but side one had a few skips. My go to is a wet clean with kitchen roll & washing up liquid. The result is the quietest clearest play. I'd forgotten how good this LP was.

This sadly needs a thorough wet clean before playing, or, it will sound awful. I played just a few secs (after reading comments here) and at the first sign of anomalies - I wet cleaned it deep x 3. After that, no problem. I thought that "Dirty hands, I demand, and, put the needle on it" was her sister, but no. It's this one.

Theres a new black pressing without the lithograph. It skips even more than my red copy. Black version isn’t on Discogs yet

Sounds amazing right out of the shrink - flat, centered, very low noise floor, and clear and defined audio with amazing stereo separation to the end of each side. This was never my favourite Kylie album but this reissue has given me a new appreciation for its spikier and (for a mainstream pop record) more experimental moments, as well as the classics like Slow and the gorgeous ballad Loving Days, simply because it's made me want to sit down and listen to it properly, right through, on a good system.

Kylie said, “skip a beat…” and this record sure did…plenty of times. After a really good second clean it sounds amazing! No issues at all. Probably the prettiest red vinyl I’ve seen.

So used to the Australian CD which has Slo Motion as the final track - a perfect finish to the album, sadly missing here
