Agree with the others on how excellent this sounds. I see some saying "how"? Mastered by Bob Ludwig. There's your answer :)

I do not understand how this sounds as good as it does - it defies everything I understand about the physical limitations of vinyl. Loud, dynamic, with a broad frequency range - just a marvelous pressing. Can't recommend it enough.

Gotta say, after not hearing any songs off this album for years (heard the singles off the air for years), I’m just so impressed with how they were able to pull off having 1 hours worth of music on a single disc, and having it sound so DAMN good.
You’d think it would take a huge loss in sound quality with the grooves so squished together, but no - it’s a marvel for the format in a year that CD and Cassette sales were starting to overtake Vinyl sales. -
The mix on this pressing just plain hits hard. If you're lucky enough to find a clean copy of this, spin with confidence. Playing through a uturn orbit plus, 2M Blue, Marantz 2215b and Dynaco a10 speakers.

Oddly, a lot of label text on my copy's side A isn't correctly centered. The band name, album title, song listing, and credits are shifted to the right about 5mm or so.
-
How they managed to fit all the tracks of this album originally onto two sides here is impressive. I can’t seem to fault it at all, but can anyone comment on the newer remastered version in comparison? Is it more dynamic?
