Even though the back cover says it features DJ U-Neek's Mo Thugs Remix of The Crossroads, mine has the original version of this song. It's exactly the same, which kind of makes me sad because I preferred the Mo Thugs Remix due to its much darker tone. I really wanted this release for my collection; I thought this will be the perfect version of this album for me (because I was never a big fan of the original Crossroads). Now, I feel betrayed.

I also think it could have sounded better. It's not bad at all, but I find something missing from the very low end. I only compared the sound of The Crossroads, 1-to-1 digitally played along from Spotify. In my experience, the high ends were more outstanding on the VMP version, however, the snare punched much more out of the mixture on Spotify. I will make more comparisons when I have time.

I'm glad I have this release. Out of all my records, this one has the best quality cover. The booklet is also a bonus. However, the records are definitely not 160-gram disks.

This is THE definitive pressing of the album to purchase and listen to. It sounds incredible and I think it even fixes some of the mastering issues of the OG versions of the album (e.g. some songs being way louder than others and certain instruments or vocals being muffled or drowned out). If only they can remaster the album digitally like this... VMP really pulled out all the stops on this one!

          Man, what a great pressing.

          E. 1999 Eternal has always been one of my favorite hiphop albums, but I always held off from buying it because it was going for insane prices. After reading the reviews and the prices of the repress dropped a little I decided to make the purchase and I can honestly say I'm amazed. The quality of this pressing is beyond anything I had expected. There's an obi, a booklet, an extra insert with some original artwork, the sleeve is nice and thick and the letters on the front are glossy. Heck, even the inside of the sleeve is printed. The quality and love put into the packaging is crazy and deserves any and all praise it gets.

Now, on to the pressing itself. First of all the vinyl looks good, it's clean and centered. Some nice poly lined sleeves. The vinyl is nice and heavy. I put it on and immediately I'm just smiling. I must have listened to this album about 500 times when I was a teenager. It was all I listened to. Listening to it now feels like listening to it for the first time. There's detail and separation I honestly didn't know would be possible on an old school Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony record. Everything sounds smooth, the voices are perfectly centered, the bass is thick and heavy. I could go on and on. It's honestly one of the best sounding hiphop releases I've ever heard.

If you're having any doubts about purchasing a copy of this pressing, don't. It's honestly one of the nicest releases I have in my entire collection.

I first had this album when I was 12 and I thought I knew the album pretty good over the years but this pressing of E.1999 sounds so good that I started noticing things I hadn’t before. Gotta be in my top 3 best sounding hip hop albums

Fantastic pressing of an 'effin hip hop milestone.
                      Flat, quiet & dynamic.
Great separation, awesome tribute to the once best rap boiz band ever.
                      No boiz, Gz actually.
