Edited 5 months agoGreat! 'Not Available' was always one of my favourite albums of the Residents. This brilliant chaos changed my life. On the 'X is for Extra' record here you got a lot of very minimal/reduced versions of the originals, some fine acappella singing included. Half of the tracks sound really different, because some instruments were changed/new and some new harmonies push the original in a strange direction. Also fine listening stuff to watch/hear how they were developing the music.
At the end there's some kind of musical 'preview' to Mark of the Mole!
