I saw the Damned play 5 years ago in Bexhill and fell in love with them (again). I bought Evil Spirits - my first Damned purchase in over 30 years - and it was a good album with some great tracks. However Darkadelic is a different beast - brilliant all the way through with most songs sounding like classics after the first play. The clear vinyl version sounds great and looks cool with the slipmat underneath. Best album since Machine Gun Etiquette for me. Incidentally the version of Motorcycle Man runs almost a minute longer on the CD for some reason.
