Amazing intimate live studio type mix. Songwriting and arrangements are incredible. I didn’t experience anything negative fidelity wise.

I've never heard this album sound so good. Very flat with a great dynamic range. It's therefore a shame that there's a bit of surface noise at certain points (especially during the song 'Holocaust', which is one of the highlights). No complaints otherwise though.

The inner sleeve that I received with my sealed copy doesn't match the one pictured above. It's illustrated with handwritten notes from the recording sessions, similar to the LP cover, and it's made of paper without any poly lining.

The tracklisting and running order for this (unfinished) album vary across different editions. Personally, I prefer the Rykodisc CD's running order to this one, but others may disagree. It's a shame that the songs 'Dream Lover', 'Nature Boy' and 'Till the End of the Day' weren't included.

Just received my copy direct from Newbury—it sounds amazing! The vinyl is dead flat, silent, and dynamic. These songs sound perfect in every way. The heavy tip-on jacket is great, too. Highly recommended!
