Wish they would have marked the record with the playback speed! I was thru the first track before I realized it was off...

Make no mistake, this is a 45 RPM LP.
If it was not obvious enough by listening to the music (although some tracks work well also at 33/1/3, but only some...) bear in mind that sparse voice & string arrangements with no drums/percussion show up every pop & click, & so traditionally these recordings are best cut at 45RPM as it helps 'shorten' any negative surface artifacts like needle drops & scratches. -

They lost me after their first three Releases. The following were also very good. No doubt. But I was bored with the many performances of a style in a relatively short period of time. But with AIR they got me back. Strong Record and a consequent turn! -

Don't make the same mistake I did and play this at 33RPM, otherwise you may find it quite long and boring ;)
