Mine came without a hype sticker on the cover - but everything else matches up. Is it still the same pressing as this listing?

Having lived with this since release, I find it more than a tad congested, two-dimensional, and harsh in places.
I assume this is baked into the way the band recorded, comped, and mixed the album - and Kevin Gray has done what can be done with the master (I assume, digital).
Sonically, I don't think this release is on par with earlier R.E.M. reissues. -

I was reluctant to buy this. Haven't really listened to R.E.M. in years and 40+€ was a bit hefty.
Last week I got it for 33€ and man was I mistaken. Even 45€ is a fair price.
The mixing is perfect nothings too far back or forward in your face. Master is well done.
The disc is silent and clean. Comes in poly inner sleeves.
The album itself is one of if not their best. I don't think it has a weak point but side 2 is the strongest imo. -
Love this album! Both in of songwriting, production and remastering. My fave non-IRS release by REM.

Indeed, fabulous sounding album, no defect at all. One of my best vinyls. The album itself is one of their best since I do not listen anymore to what I used to listen in the 1980's but I made an exception with this one. "Monster" is also a great release.

This really needs to be turned up loud to get the full soundstage, I thought the top end was missing as bass is so pronounced but once I turned it up another notch I reached optimal effect!
