The listening pleasure here has technical mastering quality slighty on the EQ highs, if compared with the original MPO uk version, wich at his best has no compression wich are clearly hearable into the 1996 sony reissue, wich is totally awful and doesn't give justice to the sensitive pleasure delivered by the guitars distortion in the tracks.
When the distortion and noise start to raise from the mix, the drums parts ages are unheardable and many nuances buried down in the limiter or various filters wich destroy the original musicality obtained by the band.
Fortunately my ears are now able to distinguish every details of this beautiful album due to Nimbus mastering, wich together the other 1991 MPO UK CD version, totally blow off the poor sony 1996 reissue or the plain recordings reedition vinyls of 2003.
I mean the recent analog original master tapes reissue double cd could only improve these original UK and cd original editions, but these clearly delivers the TOTALLY best sound journey for who started to hear the first 2 album from MBV by using the 1996 sony versions.
