This original album just seems to be a tad louder than the original USA CD.

Shouldn't this be a compilation? Looks like it is comprising two studio albums.

        Anesthetized
Nightmares of a dystopian future, with humanity enslaved by technology, is recurrent in nerd metalheads. In mid 90s, when Pantera sound revolutionized guitar distortion (crunch sound and mid frequencies were abolished) it is finally possible to symbolize dehumanization with mechanic sounds, also in heavy metal world, and not only in industrial rock one. To complete the metamorphosis was necessary melting these two worlds. Godflesh traced the way, Fear Factory accelerated it towards a new conception of metal: groovy as modern thrash, devastating as death metal, obsessive as electronic techno, melodic as the rising nu metal scene. Triggered percussions, robotic repetitive riffs, growl voice alternated with melodic one: all these on a carpet of apocalyptical synthetic melodies. Demanufature is a terrible future dominated by the machines.
