Have to dock this a star for splitting up “When It Falls” and “The Space Between” onto separate discs. The two songs flow together on CD - one goes right into the other. Should have plotted the sides differently to preserve that on LP.

Wow! This release sounds great. Mine does have some surface noise but in general the sonics are demo quality. I really have no complaints in general. Very wide soundstage, crisp highs, and punchy lows. I thought Simple Things sounded great but this album may be topping it. -
The sound itself, the cutting, the mixing, is perfect, but it's flawed by surface noise I rarely encountered that amount, too bad, still so good -
Edited 2 years agoCompared to the digital version, it's way punchier, especially in A2. You get to hear a lot more drums and bass, but it never gets overwhelming or muddy.
Very nice remaster, not as quiet as the other Zero 7 reissues but definitely worth grabbing a copy.
Edit: There is also a bigger stereo separation compared to the digital (as mentioned in one of the comments) -
Decent enough. The pressing is mostly quiet across the two discs. A few minor noises and spot of non fill. The soubd is good but ssssibilance and IGD is present with a bonded elliptical. Recommend a nude fine line or better

Edited 3 years agoI am very happy with this pressing(clean, flat, quiet). I compared it to my CD version... and on Warm Sound, there is an effect during intro/beginning of tract that sounds like static which i always found distracting. On vinyl, there is more separation and this became more of an effect which plays between right and left channels. I think there is just more information/depth on the vinyl which I prefer.
