The Contemporary S7500 series was not launched until 1959. The original release of Something Else!!!! in 1958 (C3551) was in mono only. The mono number changed to M3551 in 1959 concurrently with the stereo release.
Same labels design as https://discogs.versitio.com/Ornette-Coleman-Something-Else/release/5043184 but with:
- different back-cover without technical header,
- Contemporary Records, Inc. 8481 Melrose Place, Los Angeles, California 90069 address on bottom.
Below the track listing, after the copyright designation, it says, "Copyrights assigned 1967 to Composers Music, ASCAP."
- D3 stampers in the runout groove.
