Edited 3 years agoI agree with some of the previous reviews. The pressing is very good and quiet and doesn't seem to suffer from too much compression, but the bass is definitely boosted a bit. This might be too much if you have a problem with bass management in your listening environment. I can recommend this pressing if your room doesn't suffer from bass issues and/or you have the ability to quickly manage EQ. This is the only edition that's regularly available in the US and I feel it's a pretty good value for the $. I'm not too offended by the cover art and thin carboard but understand the upset to someone who appreciates a quality jacket.

Original british version is mono. I own this copy and i suppose it's a reissue of some US press that was a fake stereo version...

Sound is nice but quite a lot of bass for my taste. The Cover is awful. Really horrible print quality, you can even see pixels. Terrible.

Sounds really punchy, quiet vinyl, excep few Tick between two tracks. The audio quality source has some kind of variation, for example during snare drum on dandelion seeds, but maybe it is normal that eau. Bass is quite loud, on fact really loud and présent. Vocals and guitar have a lot of presence ans sounds clear. Hoverall this pressing do a real great job. Only down point is the cover, which is cheaply made, thin cardboard, and the print quality is low, but who cartes since the lp plays fine.

Edited 4 years agoA clean copy, dead silent on my table as well. The only issue is it feels a little dead and flat. But this isn't to say it is muddy. Nothing really punches or jumps out. And I don't know how it compares to earlier/other pressings, maybe it was always mastered a little flat.

Just playing this now and i'm disappointed. MOV usually very good but this a very quiet pressing and not better than the Guerssen or the splattered vinyl from RSD a few years ago. Says Audiophile pressing on the sticker on the front. I would say this is meaningless waffle.
