Obtained the mono in January 2025. This is one psych record that lives up to the hype. Nice eclectic blend coupled with fuzz. Just right!
And the cover..... one of the best ever!

Seriously for $2,000 we looking at just intact. I guess it’s a given. For what it’s worth, the cover art really matches the music. July thankfully is still playing live. Still delivering great performances. It’s always great to see a band have a happy ending.

If you are looking for a great sounding alternative to the UK mono look no further than this Brazilian Mono cut which is the same mono cut as the UK. This is the dedicated mono mix and while very rare, it can be had for less than the 3k asking price that the UK mono commands. The bottom end is super punchy, bass tight and present to the point that my living room rumbles which is a good thing! The miss and highs are open and present. Just a fantastic listen. I do own an original USA press and like the fake stereo the USA Epic offers. While not as good as the mono I still find that the stereo has plenty of charm. I recommend both

IMO this mono promo is a folddown of the fake stereo mix. I carefully compared the US mono promo to an Epic fake stereo lp folded into mono and they sounded virtually the same.

Solid reissue, another great release from Bam-Caruso. Should be noted that this is in mono, not stereo - the July album doesn't exist in a "true" stereo mix

The only Stereo version… a remix from mono like the US Magical Myster Tour Lp. Sounds great!

Some legendary lost albums you buy don’t live up to the price tag. This is not one of those. It’s a great record if you’re into British psychedelic rock.
If you like the Tomorrow record, you’ll dig this. Worth the $30 or whatever it is now. Fits right in with SF Sorrow era Pretty Things, The Pink Floyd, etc

There do seem to be sporadic issues with copies of these, I sympathise with those who’ve had a crap deal.
I’ve had three of these parlophone reissues now and they’ve all been great.
I have also listened to originals and these stack up very nicely, they’re never going to beat an original though with a price tag to match.
But I’m not an oligarch, so these will do nicely
