Rush – Power Windows

I have this translucent pressing, 72 Richmond PRC MASTERDISK but no initials on either side. It sounds fantastic! Great low end. The synth on Big Money and Geddy's bass lines have a lot of heft. The kick drum on Mystic Rhythms really drives the track. No IGD. Those two tracks on some pressings sound a bit harsh and cluttered with so much going on. But on this pressing they both sound great with nice separation. One of the better sounding pressings I have. Will compare to the black vinyl RL at some point and update ...

power windows is loud upon loud, the vinyl itself also has that same feelings and results in a very loud and compressed experience with next ti zero dynamics.... which is okay because this album is Not dynamic and slightest. this press is solid but nothing special with a godawfully flimsy packaging, but otherwise the album is absolutely brilliant.

Excellent pressing. Direct Metal Mastering has resulted in a very clean and tight record with a low noise floor.

This is actually a really nice sounding album for it being a club.

I have a soft spot for this album as it was the first Rush album I owned, therefore I totally love this album. The release doesn't let it down, great presentation and worth buying if you can find a good copy.

Fantastic pressing on translucent grey vinyl. Very clean, clear, dynamic and blows away my CD version. Neal's kick drum is tight and just sounds marvelous. Very nice soundstage. If you find this one, don't hesitate!

Watch out collectors! Tons of cheap recent reissues are sold here as 200 gram pressing but don't be fooled, ask for pics of either the 200 gram hype sticker or of the card with 2016 expiration date otherwise you'll be getting a 180 gram later reissue....

I purchased this album d as the 2016 200 gram pressing but it has 2015 on the label and jacket. Runouts are all etched: 256286E/A, 10-97986 / B002238501 - B. Looks like a typical GZ pressing. No complaints on the SQ but seemed to be cut at low level and livened up with more volume.
