Pressing is a boom!!!! Boom boom biatchesssss!!! An incredible debut from teo legends of rap. Especially EL P !!! Sounds exploiting all over the place really!!! Almost classic hip hop release since 2012. 12 years old and nothing changes,.

Fantastic pressing in every way!

She was flat, silent and clean right out of the sleeve. The mastering and cut is absolutely stellar and it now may be my go-to Hip Hop demo disc. It really sounds (and looks!) that good.

Grab it while you can before the price gets stupid.

Before I go a little into detail on the sound, first off: This is an amazing addition to any record and more so to every RTJ collection! The pressing quality is flawless: quiet parts are amazingly clean, both records are dead flat and there is not much gunk right out the box (as with every record, a thorough cleaning will elevate the sound, though).

I went back and forth comparing this version with the 2014 transparent w/ green and black splatter. I concentrate on the A and B side as I have no way to compare the C and D side instrumentals.

I get the impression, there has been some remastering. The new version is more transparent in the vocals and the instrumentals (especially bass) have been somewhat tamed. I'd describe it as more detailed and more balanced. However, without loosing the grit of El-Ps production. The only track, where the taming of bass levels went a bit too far, in my opinion, is straight up A1. This lead to a slightly disappointed initial response. This can be immediately remedied, however, by turning up the volume ever so slightly. I also got the impression that this version is a little bit quieter overall. When I say "a little bit", I actually mean it. Just a small nudge of your volume knob and you're back to the same levels, with a little more detail, better vocal transparency and less surface noise. I'd call that a win-win-win. Hardly any reason to hang on to the old version (apart from the Bonus 12", of course..).

So yeah, I highly recommend this pressing. And the instrumentals are just amazing. Would grab it now, before it is sold out every but here and Discogs does its crazy " it's limited, so please sell your kidney to own it"-magic...

What plant pressed this record? How does it sound? How is the pressing quality?

I see them popping up on record stores, split colors but i wonder if they are having a lenticular front cover too.

Sounds good but my orange copy sounds better to my ears. Def worth getting.

So mine is exactly the same except that the sticker does not have the ''+ Aqua'' and ''hhv''. So this variant is not really ''hhv exclusive'' it seems.

Where is the deluxe 2lp gold version? Cause I know this vinyl isn’t lime green. But the CAT# is the same. It was up until idk how long, but it’s weird I didn’t get a message from discogs saying it was being deleted.

Amazing pressing but sound lacks depth and leaves a lot to be desired
