This is a great 80s rock album and this Europa pressing sounds fresh, punchy and crispy.

What a great sounding piece of vinyl. Great balance from top to bottom. Low end is thick and powerful. Mids - Highs are crisp and clear. This is a good press!

I just opened a sealed brand new one of this exact pressing today, 11/13/2024. The vinyl was flat without any surface blemishes throughout. Mint. I cleaned the vinyl with a clean velvet brush and a basic wet solution. It plays and sounds overall excellent.

I have 1 Back on Black 2010 coloured LP for selling... but as it is still sealed and all coloured copies have the same label BOBV230LP + the same barcode 803341319325 I can not know which colour do I have. Is there any way to find out the colour without unpack it? Thanx

My copy is NM but it skips at the beggining of track A1 a little after the drums kick in, it did since the first time I played it, I did clean it in every possible way and cant get rid off the dirt or whatever is making it skip but now I'm thinking its a factory/pressing issue.
Anyone has this problem with track A1?

Why they don't have released Turbo 30 on LP with the 1986 Live that is present on CD ?

Oh boy, priest had finally locked into their leather wearing, A-string chugging metal masters, when they made this choice to embrace the pop metal sounds of Y&T, Def Leppard, Poison, Ratt, etc. The album has some catchy moments, but overall a letdown of a Priest album. Although the guitar solos are a step up from their past efforts, they are so laden with synth effects that they're easy to ignore.

Highlight is "Reckless", which still tips the hat to old Priest, sadly buried at the end of side B. It's a near perfect rocker, IMO.

The mix is slathered in digital wet reverb and stereo delay, par for the late '80s. This was the last album I bought before abandoning metal.

Pressing is full sounding, huge bottom, and cut hot, but vinyl is noisy.

For those who have trouble with sibilant vocals, I recommend raising the counterweight of the record player
