Have M/M copy in shrink for trade if you're in the Marseille or London areas. Played once. perfect vinyl. -

My copy sounds great as well. Not getting any of the compression or surface noise others mentioned. Definitely worth getting while it's still around. -
Have the original and re-issue... This re-issue is compressed and I doubt the original tapes were used... Playback is on a high end turntable using Miyajima Waza, Ortofon Spu Synergy and Ortofon Cadenza Bronze cartridges so easy to hear the lack of dynamics and extension of instruments within the soundstage against the original... Good try but expensive for the lack of quality and you don't always get what you pay for... Now Alice Coltrane's Ptah the El Daoud was a recent quality re-issue vinyl from the Coltrane estate. -
so nice to have this one on an affordable repress. -- nicely done for a reissue. vinyl flat and full in sound. no complaints

Not sure what the below poster was talking about - My copy just arrived from Japan and its definitely a quiet pressing - while not the ultimate in audiophile sound it's a solid job all around. The only nitpick would be the lack of a tip-on sleeve - considering this release was pushed back nearly 2 years, I think they could have upgraded here.

Quite noisey pressing and no new notes , feels a bit of a cheap reissue for price.
