Grateful Dead* – Aoxomoxoa

I believe, I have this pressing but my matrix varies from what's currently listed. Both the T and o are pressed, the rest is etched. Neither side appears to have the 1 between the T and 39493 but only after the "1A.". Note the period, visible on both sides. I bought it unsealed, but if the jacket and sleeve are original they mach the descriptions here; including the 10th anniversary sleeve. The 1 (or I) seems to be in a different location. Just to note, the o appears right before the T, so I don't know if it should be on the end, or at the beginning.

Let me know if others have this and if so, can we add it here. I haven't heard other pressings really, so I can't really review the pressing but it's not warped or anything, not visibly anyway.

I have a US cassette I think might be a 1969 first printing. It is in a two piece plastic box that full opens up similar to the plastic slip cases of the late 60’s. The artwork is glued on paper. White cassette W7 and AMPEX logos X1790

Was very surprised at how well this pressing sounds , Warmth and Sonically balanced .

Lot of pops and cracks. I’ve got over 1k records and this is in the top ten for pops. Just too much noise to enjoy level after a clean. Maybe just bad luck on my part.

Mine came with a big ol’ warp ☹️ but the record plays spotlessly anyway. What a stunning press, surely the best this record has ever sounded 10/10

So, in 1971 the Dead remixed the album to tone down some of the more out-there production of the 1969 original, according to Allmusic. Is this Bellman cut using the 1969 mix then?

This is the original 1969 mix. The copy I have the label and matrix matches this copy but the cover matches https://discogs.versitio.com/release/9940587.

Is olive label UK pressing contains an original 1969 mix or it’s 1971 remix ?
