Thundercat – It Is What It Is

Leaving a review to counter the previous. Not a single pop, click or surface noise on this record. Did do an initial clean on an ultrasonic. But at high volume on a good setup. Not a flaw in sight. Clear and dynamic. Solid red. No complaints.

Have the cream one, not sure about this. Sounds muttered and bland, definitely mastering issues. I would recommend to avoid it.

My first album of his. Great stuff but this pressing lacks bass and overall is disappointing from BRAINFEEDER.

Sound is flat, lacks bass, and side B is off centered, so it sounds wavey on that side. Bad release.

My copy sucks (bought sealed): surface noise, saturation, clicks... and red. Ultrasonic washing did change nothing. Shame on MPO again, and again, and again. And shame on Brainfeeder too for no quality control ! It seems that providing a flawless classic black vinyl asks too much efforts to them. Pressing after pressing, the same lack of quality control operates. What a greedy behaviour, that's very disappointing from people I've been ing from day one.

i have the cream vinyl. The sound is frankly bad. it is barely listenable with an audio technica 760 SLC. forget dj cartridges. its a shame, this record is utterlly good musically. but something ruined it.. mastering ?

A bit disappointed with this ngl. Doesn't sound horrible but feels really empty and flat. A few of the tracks sound better than others but a lot of it is just super quiet and thin. Sad because this is a record I've wanted to get for a while. Oh well.

After reading the comments, I was afraid but mine sound perfect, and the record (a clear one) is perfectly flat, amazing album anyway

Sound lacks bass on my pressing, kind of disappointing regarding our deer Thundercat...

Happy to report that my copy won't quit, is quite quiet.
