Radiohuset, Copenhagen

Radiohuset, located on Rosenørns Allé, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, was the headquarters of DR since 1996), the Danish national broadcasting corporation from 1941 to 2007.

Designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, the construction works began in 1936. In 1940 the first radio program was broadcast from Radiohuset. Studio 1 hosted the concert hall, Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium.
