Danmarks Radio was the name of the Danish national broadcasting corporation from 1959 to 1996.
The name of the corporation has evolved over time as follows:

- Since 1996: DR
Danmarks Radio is often identifiable by it's characteristic "DR" logo (with or without subtitle "Danmarks Radio"), in use since 1962 and typographically distinct from the various logos of DR.
History: By 1959 Danmarks Radio was operating two radio channels, Program 1 and Program 2, and one television channel. The headquarters were located at DR.
