I know a colleague of mine who pronounces it like that, but I would never have thought about that. For me it is definitely disc +ogs (like cogs) and it will never change anymore ;-) -

I know someone who pronounces it as "dis" "sogs". Doesn't even pronounce the C. But he's a bit of a door handle to be fair :P
I know how it's supposed to be pronounced but I've always pronounced it look a few others as disc - ogs and it's stuck that way 11 years later :( -

Luckily my wife understands the need for constantly finding music we haven't heard yet and understood why we lost the "dining room" to shelves.... (she buys books the way I do CDs and Vinyl).
But this site here she only marginally understands my obsession with. -
